Day 1: Siem Reap – Preah Vihear – Koh Ker

At 80.00 am, our guide and 4WD driver will pick you up from the hotel at Siem Reap, and we drive to Preah Vihear temple. On the way, stop to visit Ta Mok’s house in Anlong Veng (Ta Mok was a general commander of Pol Pot in the 1990s) and have lunch. Then continue to drive to visit Preah Vihear Temple located at the Thailand border. Preah Vihear dates back to the beginning of the 11th century. It dominates the plain from its prominent position in the Dangrek Mountains at an altitude of over 700m. The temple is located near the Thai border and was previously occupied by the Thais. It has recently been awarded UNESCO World Heritage status. Explore this historic temple and take in the sweeping views from the summit over Thailand and Cambodia. Drive down the hill to return to the checkpoint and proceed to Koh Ker. Koh Ker was built in the 10th century and functioned briefly as the Khmer Empire’s capital between 928 and 944 A.D. The style of the Koh Ker temple is different from any other temple in Cambodia and has more of a resemblance to the ancient pyramids of Egypt. Partially overgrown by the forest and inhabited only by birds, this temple and its surroundings are an exceptional experience. Day 2: Koh Ker – Laos Village – Koh Han

After breakfast at the local restaurant, we drive to visit the Sopheakmit Waterfall at the Laos border and get a coffee break at downtown Preah Vihear City. visit Sopheak Mitt Waterfall, the is one of the biggest waterfalls in the world located on the Mekong River border of Laos and Cambodia. And lunch with the local community of Preah Romkel.,Take the boat ride to visit Laos village and further ride downstream through the Mekong River to Koh Han where you will welcome by the local communities. Today we will overnight in adventures in the campsite on the Mekong Island (Koh Han). This afternoon, enjoy the swimming in Mekong River and beaches. Camp Fire Dinner on the island

Day 3: Koh Han – Stung Treng – Ratanakiri (Banlung)

Early morning, say goodbye to the community and drive to have breakfast at the local restaurant in Stung Treng. Then we continue to drive to Banlung downtown Ratanakiri City. Lunch at the local restaurant and check-in at the hotel.,Afternoon, we start the visit to explore local mining communities and examine the beautiful gemstone and hill tribe village (Tampuan Tribe) then spend the balance of the day at the crater lake of Beng Yeak Loam which is the result of the volcano around 700.000 years ago. This is a sacred place for Khmer, especially the local people who live around there. You can walk around the lake. It’s a popular natural swimming pool so you can enjoy refreshing yourself after a long day of activities. Dinner at the local restaurant and overnight at the hotel

Breakfast the hotel.,We drive to Senmonorom downtown Mondulkiri City, and visit the Bousra Waterfall on the way, the most beautiful waterfall in Cambodia. Arrive at Mondulkiri, check in at the hotel, and get refreshments.,Afternoon, we drive around to figure out the city and get to the coffee plantation farm to learn and taste the local coffee. Then we drive to different hills to view nature and watch the sunset with a nice cold beer and soft drink. Dinner at the local restaurant and return to the hotel for overnight.

Day 5: Mondulkiri (Senmonorom) – Elephant Watch

Today we will share a day trip with others to visit the Elephants, called Elephant Lover Day Visit (Starting at 7.30 am and finishing at 5.30 pm).,Our guide and driver will transfer you to the Elephant Valley Project office and drop you off. Then you will join with others and transfer by Elephant Valley Project to the site (they will have all things for you such as 2-way transfers, drinking water, lunch, a local ranger, and a tour guide). Hike into the beautiful Cambodian jungle and spend a full day observing two different elephant herds, following them as they graze, play, and wander through their forest home. Learn about the elephants, local indigenous people’s culture, forest, and conservation.,At 5.30 pm when you finish the tour with Elephant Valley Project, our guide and driver will pick you up from their office and transfer to the hotel for refreshments, and take you to the local restaurant in town for dinner.

Day 6: Mondulkiri (Senmonorom) – Kratie

Breakfast at the hotel.,We drive to Kratie, the home of Irrawaddy Dolphins. Lunch at the local restaurant in Kratie, and check-in at the hotel.,Afternoon, we drive to Prek Kampi to visit Irrawaddy Dolphins. Irrawaddy dolphins are found in coastal areas in South and Southeast Asia, and in three rivers: the Ayeyarwady (Myanmar), the Mahakam (Indonesian Borneo), and the Mekong. The Mekong River Irrawaddy dolphins inhabit a 118-mile stretch of the river between Cambodia and Lao PDR and are scarce—just 92 individuals are estimated to still exist. These dolphins have a bulging forehead, short beak, and 12-19 teeth on each side of both jaws. And drive back to Kratie for dinner and overnight
